The source is no other than DJ KC Montero who announced it first on his radio show and he also tweeted about the split on his account.

There is no official statement from the group yet.

Formed in 2002 and became a well-loved rock group, Bamboo had released 4 albums, all top-sellers. One of the albums turned gold, two went platinum and one reached double platinum.

Guillermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation has named Bamboo as the Most Popular Recording Group during the 2007 Box Office Entertainment Awards and was awarded Artist of the Year twice in the NU 107 Rock Awards (2004, 2007).
